Free family activities are being offered from Jan. 21 through March at Crimson Lake Park.
Alberta Parks is adding snow fort building, a snowman contest and self-guided interpretive programs to the roster of activities available from the Crimson Lake store. It will be opened from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on eight consecutive Saturdays — from Jan. 21 to March 11.
Snowshoe rentals, a warm-up fire pit, and concession will also be available, as well as groomed cross-country trails, fat-bike trails, ice fishing, winter camping, etc. More information is available from albertaparks.ca.
Crimson Lake Park is located just north of Rocky Mountain House at Hwy 11 and Hwy 22.
