Favourable weather forecast for Red Deer is Ready event Friday

Mother Nature seems to be on side for the Red Deer is Ready rally. The rally is part of Red Deer’s campaign to bring the 2019 Canada Winter Games to the city. Events go from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Ross Street in downtown Red Deer.

The rally is part of Red Deer’s campaign to bring the 2019 Canada Winter Games to the city. Events go from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Ross Street in downtown Red Deer.

The event will feature live music, arts, culture, interactive sports, food, bouncy castles, princesses and a winter wonderland in August. The main presentation will take place at 2 p.m. with Cari and Ron MacLean and several Olympic athletes on the main stage.

Park and Ride is available from Bower Place Shopping Centre and Parkland Mall parking lots.
