Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools received a $15,000 grant from the Family and Community Support Services (FCSS).

The money help enrich the mental health of students through the Family School Enhancement Program at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School in Innisfail.

This funding allows the program to continue to offer in-person group support at the school, through classroom cohorts, as well as virtual programs for students and their families, said counsellor Jennifer Hare, of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School.

“This generous grant will allow us to continue... to focus on the mental well being of our school community with the help of our Family School Enhancement Counsellor,” said school principal Kelly Jacobson.
