Fire investigators are still determining the cause of a fire that caused an estimated $300,000 damage to a condo in North Red Deer.

On Friday, fire crews responded to a call of a structure fire on Jamieson Avenue at 5:15 a.m. There was no one home at the time of the fire. The crews fought the blaze for nearly five hours before turning it over to fire investigators. The fire was contained to the one unit.

Fire prevention officer Josh Mah said investigators have not determined the cause. The investigation is ongoing.
