CALGARY — Fire crews were called out early this morning to battle a fast spreading fire at a mobile home park in Calgary.

The Calgary Fire Department says the call from the Oasis Mobile Home Park came in around 02:00 a.m. and that smoke and flames were pouring from multiple units when firefighters arrived on scene.

It says two single family mobile homes were gutted and two others were at least partially destroyed before crews gained the upper hand.

No people were hurt, but two cats were reported missing, and a Calgary Transit bus was provided to shelter those forced out of their homes.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
