First Country Drive coming

The last weekend in May marks a new season for Country Drive, a local program geared at connecting rural farms and businesses with their urban customers.

The last weekend in May marks a new season for Country Drive, a local program geared at connecting rural farms and businesses with their urban customers.

Springtime Country Drive, the first of four events to be held through the year, features self-guided tours of 20 participating sites, including a variety of farms, museums and rural businesses.

Later tours include the Summertime Country Drive in August, the Harvest Country Drive in October and the Christmas Country Drive in December.

Springtime Country Drive operations are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 28 and 29.
