Red Deer artist Trenton Leach peers between the walls of a miniature replica of his sculpture entitled ‘The Fishbowl’ at the official opening of the Dawe Recreation Centre on Saturday. Once the real life-sized sculpture — two vertical sheets of steel with marbles encased — is completed near the end of this year, it will measure roughly 2.5 meters wide and 3 metres tall. Trenton is one of several local artists who’s creations have found a permanent home at the new centre.
