A fog advisory is in place for the Red Deer, Lacombe, Three Hills and Stettler areas.

Environment Canada said areas of dense fog have formed in parts of western, central and southeastern Alberta this morning. These areas of fog may cause near zero visibility at times.

Fog will dissipate later this morning.
