Four taken to hospital after two-vehicle collision in Red Deer Monday

Honda Civic collided with pickup at 30th Avenue and 55th Street about 6 p.m.

Four people were taken to hospital after a collision in southeast Red Deer on Monday.

The collision happened about 6 p.m. at 30th Avenue and 55th Street.

RCMP said a Honda Civic failed to yield at a yellow light and collided with a Ford F-150 pickup. Air bags in both vehicles deployed.

The lone occupant of the Civic and an adult and two children from the pickup were taken to hospital to be checked out.

A violation ticket was issued to the driver of the Civic.
