A freezing rain warning issued by Environment Canada early Wednesday morning has ended.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may be icy and slippery.

Periods of freezing rain or snow are expected to end early this morning in Red Deer followed by flurries beginning near noon and ending this afternoon.
Local blowing snow are forecast for early this afternoon. Local snowfall could reach two cm, with a northwest 30 km/h wind gusting to 50.
Temperatures are expected to fall to -8 C this afternoon.
