Friends of the RDRHC focuses on enhancing patient care and comfort by raising money for essential equipment, services and supplies.

The charity operates Present Trends Gift Shop, Cafe VA and Jolt N Bolt at the hospital to raise funds for patient care.

Belzerowski said in recent years COVID-19 reduced the number visitors and administrative staff at the hospital which impacted the number of people using the charity’s services. While the hospital is now back to normal, the charity was impacted and Central Albertans can help by supporting the annual garage sale.
