City of Red Deer emergency services lent a hand to Red Deer County after a generator shed near the county offices caught fire Thursday.
Red Deer County Fire Services requested mutual aid to combat the blaze in the shed adjacent to the county centre on Range Road 275.
The county’s department had already been called to a large structure fire in the Pine Lake area when the fire began.
City of Red Deer responded with two engines and a tender truck. Upon arrival, the fire was quickly extinguished, with only minor damage to the generator shed, and no damage to the county offices.
