Ellis Bird Farm will host its annual Bluebird Festival on July 13.
People can register at the visitor centre for a garden tour from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The bluebird trail tour, which runs from noon to 2:30 p.m., also requires registration and people must provide their own transportation.
Jazz Explosion will serenade visitors from 1 to 3 p.m.
Children can participate in crafts, Nature Kids NatureBlitz, nest box building and bird banding with Strix Ecological. The cost to build a nest box is $6.
Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute will be on site showcasing its new app, NatureLynx.
The Blue Feather Award will be presented at 2 p.m. to a bluebird trail caretaker.
Ellis Bird Farm Cafe is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
