Getting into the thick of things on Sunday is Darcy Ramstead of Red Deer during the Mudd Bogg in Rimbey. The event marked the opening of Central Alberta Raceways 2012 season, and drew a good turnout of spectators. Ramstead tried his luck in the event, and at times could barely see as he drove his ATV. But keeping the peddle to the metal worked for him and others as they made their way through the mucky mess. Others who were not so successful had to be towed out.
