Beginning later this week about 150 gift bags prepared by staff and volunteers will be distributed to seniors in the area. Donations from individuals and area businesses has made this project a reality, said Carrick, who is the volunteer and adult day program manager at Family Services of Central Alberta. The program helping isolated seniors to celebrate a happy Christmas is in its third year.
