With wings too tiny to take flight, a group of Canada Geese goslings run through the grass at Bower Ponds on Monday. Visitors to the Bower Ponds and MacKenzie Trail Recreation areas in Red Deer can get very close to the young birds and their parents but are cautioned the older birds can be protective of their young.
