Mary Gay George, left, and Carol Turk don’t get together that often, but when they do it’s always a happy occasion and a very small family reunion. They are the great-granddaughters of one of Red Deer’s founding fathers, Leonard Gaetz. While Turk lives in Red Deer, George lives in Utah and is an internationally recognized author, educator and pianist. She and Turk met up this weekend at the Alberta Piano Teachers Association Conference in the Red Deer Lodge.
