Three of the 19 combines working on Kevin Williams’ land northeast of Delburne on Wednesday bring in a canola harvest.
About 100 people in the community came together to help the family harvest about 900 acres of canola and barley in about five hours.
Williams was taken to hospital in Red Deer on Sunday where he was diagnosed with two brain tumors, said his son Smokey.
Thank you just doesn’t go far enough to show our appreciation, added Smokey, who was driving a grain hauling truck while his neighbors helped to bring in the harvest.
