High wildfire risk in Rocky Mountain House Forest Area

The wildfire danger in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area is now high.

There is currently one wildfire in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area, which is under control.

Since March 1, there have been 48 wildfires in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area, burning a total of 74 hectares.

Across the province, there are nine wildfires in the Forest Protection Area of Alberta. Two of these wildfires are being held and seven are under control.

A total of 569 wildfires in the Forest Protection Area of Alberta have burned 1,389 hectares since March 1.
