A pair of collisions were reported on Highway 2 near Red Deer on Monday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m. Alberta 511 warned drivers about a collision in the northbound lanes in the Highway 11 and Highway 11 A area.
The crash backed up traffic while the scene was cleared.
Around 5 p.m. another collision was reported in the southbound lanes near Highway 11 A.
Drivers were once again warned to expect delays.
