One lane has been opened on Highway 2 between 32 street and Highway 11 in Red Deer.
The portion of the highway was closed for most of the afternoon.

According to 511 Alberta, it was closed due to jackknifed semi.
Southbound lanes remain open.
The Twitter post asks drivers to expect major delays and use alternate routes.
