Eight historic plaques were stolen from Centennial Park and buildings in the downtown area in Olds recently.
Olds RCMP is seeking anyone who may have information regarding the theft of the plaques – the theft is believed to have occurred between the overnight hours of Tuesday and the morning of Wednesday.
“Each of these plaques have significant value in describing the history of the building they were attached to and are part of the Town of Olds historic downtown,” said RCMP.
RCMP is continuing their investigation into this incident and are asking the public to come forward with any information related to these incidents.
