VALLEYVIEW — A 22-year-old woman is dead after a suspected hit-and-run collision in northern Alberta.
RCMP at Valleyview say they got word late Sunday night about a female lying on the road on the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation.
Investigators believe she was struck by a vehicle that did not remain at the scene.
They’re still looking for the driver.
The victim was a Sturgeon Lake resident.
Her name has not been released.
