The Holiday Train made several stops between Calgary and Edmonton Thursday including Lacombe, Ponoka, Hobbema, Wetaskiwin and Leduc. During the stop in Lacombe, Canadian Pacific made a donation of $1,000 to the Lacombe Food Bank.
The thousands of people attending the events across the country are also encouraged to make a donation to their local food banks.
