Home Depot Red Deer lends helping hand to Youth HQ

Youth HQ and BGC Red Deer have received a welcomed gift from Home Depot.

Home Depot in Red Deer raised over $10,000 for the organization with its Orange Door Project and had an additional $5,000 donated from the Home Depot Canada Foundation, for a total of $15,694.28.

The campaign was designed to to help prevent and end youth homelessness in communities across Canada.

“Youth HQ and BGC Red Deer & District would like to extend our gratitude to the staff team at Home Depot Red Deer for all their efforts throughout the annual Orange Door Campaign in support of housing and hope for homeless and vulnerable youth,” said Rob Lewis, executive director, Youth HQ in a press release.

“We greatly value the commitment and efforts by our local Home Depot and the Home Depot Canada Foundation for making a difference in the lives of the youth we serve in Red Deer and area.”
