Dawe maintenance

The G.H. Dawe Community Centre waterpark will be closed for maintenance from Jan. 3 to Jan. 9. The rest of the centre — including the gymnasium, fitness and cardio area, meeting rooms and arena — will remain open and maintain regular hours of operation during the maintenance. Scheduled aquatic activities will resume on Jan. 10. The shutdown allows staff and contractors to perform warranty work as well as conduct a thorough inspection and maintenance on all equipment and technical systems in the waterpark. All other city recreation facilities will remain open with this time. Users with Dawe Centre cards are reminded that their card also allows them access to the Recreation Centre and the Michener Aquatic Centre. For more information on the G.H. Dawe Community Centre, visit www.reddeer.ca/dawe or phone 403-406-8600.
