Chuckwagon tarp auction

Sponsors hoping to hitch their fortunes to a pony chuckwagon are being invited to bring their chequebooks to Billy Bob’s night club. Westerner Days Fair and Exposition has signed a new sponsorship deal with the Capri Hotel in which the 13th-annual tarp auction will be hosted at the hotel’s western-themed night club, official sponsor for the 2011 races. The chuckwagon committee has also made some changes in sponsorship packages that members believe will maximize visibility for participating organizations and ensure their messages reach the right people. This year’s tarp auction is set to start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16. Westerner Days runs from July 20 through 24. For details on the new package and other aspects of taking part in the auction, call Peggy Jackson at 403-309-0225 or email pjackson@westerner.ab.ca
