The two-hour morning sessions will run Tuesday, May 17, 24 and 31 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 4620-47A Ave., Red Deer. Registration is at the front desk of the Golden Circle.
What do you think are the most pressing air quality issues in the region? The Parkland Airshed Management Zone, or PAMZ, is seeking public input in identifying the issues it should be addressing with its regional air quality monitoring program. A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday at the Lacombe Memorial Centre from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. PAMZ will select six monitoring locations for its Martha Kostuch Air Monitoring Trailer in 2012 based on the recommendations from the meeting and a review of the 2010-2011 complaint records of Alberta Environment, Energy Resources Conservation Board and Natural Resources Conservation Board. PAMZ will also use the recommendations from the public meeting, as well as the results of a public issues survey underway to decide which issues to take to the Clean Air Strategic Alliance to be worked on at the provincial level.
