Sometimes, the answers are straightforward. At other times, fire investigators must unravel layers of mystery to determine who or what caused a fire. Alberta author Dave Hugelschaffer explores the intricacies of fire investigations with his own series of mysteries, based on a fictional fire investigator, Porter Cassel. Cassels’ investigations can draw him into even deeper trouble, including facing a murder charge when an arson suspect dies. Hugelschaffer will bring his mysteries to life in Red Deer on Sunday, when he will be on hand to sign copies of his books at the Chapters store in South Pointe Common. Hugelschaffer will be in the store from noon until 6 p.m. Visit www.davehugelschaffer.com to learn more.
