The medical director for Alberta Health Services in Central Alberta will speak at Golden Circle Senior Resource Centre on Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. Dr. Evan Lundall, medical director for the AHS Central Zone, will make his presentation at a meeting of Central Alberta Council on Aging. Twenty graduating high school students across Canada have the chance to win a $5,000 scholarship. Toyota Canada and the Toyota Canada Foundation, in partnership with Earth Day Canada, created the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program. It awards those in the areas of environmental community service, extracurricular and volunteer activities, and academic excellence. Deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 31.
