Get ready to get rid of your unwanted skis and snowboards. The Canadian Ski Patrol System for the Red Deer Zone/Mountain is holding its annual ski and snowboard swap from Nov. 18 to 20. The ski patrol is holding the show in conjunction with the Red Deer Snow Fest Ski and Snowboard at the Ag Centre at Westerner Park. New and used skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and cross-country gear will be on hand. Cash only. November is Epilepsy Education Month and the Central Alberta office of the Epilepsy Association of Calgary is holding an information session on Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Hub on Ross.
