Jill Hagen and Lisa Heinrichs will perform at the Fellowship Hall of Nazarene Church at 4904 48 Ave. in Innisfail on Sunday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show at 7 p.m. Lisa Heinrichs is a political Christian singer/songwriter with a passion for the truth. Jill Hagen is a singer/songwriter from Alberta, who has been touring sharing her passion for Christ through music since 2008. Percustionist to perform

Percussionist and marimba soloist Bruce Landmark will display the meaning of the words “musical virtuosity” during two performances at Red Deer’s Matchbox Theatre on Thursday and Friday. Founder of the Landmark Musical Connoisseur Series, Landmark became the principal percussionist for the Calgary Symphony Orchestra immediately following high school. He travelled the world to play with orchestras and retired at 30. Landmark now teaches at Lacombe’s Canadian University College. Landmark will be heard along with Red Deer College’s mezzo soprano Sharon Braun and guests. The audience will hear a program using combinations of the marimba, voice, snare drums, piano and the accordion. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show to follow at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students, and children five and under get in free. Pyjama, pearls fundraiser

It’s time to get dressed in your favourite pyjamas for the Soroptomist International of Central Alberta’s Pyjamas and Pearls fundraising dinner on Saturday. People are invited to wear pearls and pyjamas and dance in their blue suede shoes with C.J. Berube, Elvis Presley tribute artist. Tickets are $60 per person, table of eight for $450. Cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Raffles, pyjama contests and silent auction on hand. Proceeds support the Women’s Opportunity Award and other projects helping women and girls. Soroptomist is also accepting applications for its Women’s Opportunity Award, Violet Richardson Award and Ruby Award: For Women Helping Women.
