Rimbey Lions Swimming Pool is $3,540 richer thanks to a fundraising event sponsored by Rimbey Ford and Ford Motor Company of Canada. For every Rimbey person who test drove a Ford or Lincoln vehicle on Nov. 20 Ford donated $20 to the Rimbey Lions Swimming Pool. A total of 177 people showed up to test drive vehicles. The event is part of Drive One 4 UR Community fundraising event. Representatives from the swimming pool worked with Rimbey Ford to host the one day event. “It was great to see so many people come out in cold weather to support the Rimbey Lions Swimming Pool,” said Mark Shantz, general manager of Rimbey Ford.
