Get dog Licences online
Renewing a dog licence just got easier in Red Deer. Residents can buy the 2011 licence for their canines online through the City of Red Deer website. Letters, which will include a PIN number for registration, have been sent in the mail to those who bought a licence this year.
“We have expanded our service to make it simpler and more accessible for all dog owners in the city,” said Stephanie Gramlich, license/permit inspector.
Licence renewals, as well as first-time licences, can still be bought in person at Alberta Animal Services, SPCA, One Stop License Shop, Red Deer Registries, or at the cashier counter on the main floor of City Hall. Licence fees are $26 for altered dogs, $56 for unaltered ones. An administration fee may apply at some locations. The 2010 licences expire Dec. 31.
