The public is invited to learn more about the 2009-10 theatre season at the Scott Block at an open house, held from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday, at 4818 50th Ave in downtown Red Deer. Music and refreshments will be provided, along with details of the season, which includes Bull Skit! comedy nights and the Eric Bogosian play Suburbia, presented by Against the Wall Theatre. ADHD forum features MD

A pediatrician will be the guest speaker at a public education forum on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Dr. David Roseman will attend the forum that will take place Thursday, Oct. 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westerner Park Chalet, located at 4847 19th St. It is being presented by the Learning Disabilities Association. RDC music for charity

All kinds of great music will be performed for charity on Thursday at a student-produced concert at the Red Deer College Arts Centre. Rock, smooth jazz and classical music will be played from 1 p.m. at the Thursday Live! concert, presented by the RDC Music Department. The $2 admission fee will benefit the RDC United Way campaign.
