Dallas Arcand performs a hoop dance with 20 hoops for the students of St. Martin de Porres School Tuesday. The native of the Alexander (Kipohtakaw) Cree Nation near Edmonton and fellow performer Billy Walker of Chetwynd, B.C. spent National Aboriginal Day working with students on arts projects before they sang and danced. Arcand, who has won two world hoop dancing championships, also performed at the Central Alberta Turtle Awards honouring aboriginal achievements.
