Central Albertans who have not received their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can now visit the immunization clinic at Westerner Park.

Drop-in appointments at the Red Deer clinic are now available Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Youth born in 2009 or earlier will receive the Pfizer vaccine; Albertans born in 2003 or earlier will receive the Moderna vaccine. Albertans under the age of 18 need parental consent to get the COVID-19 vaccine and can download the form at www.albertahealthservices.ca

Those attending the clinic are asked to bring their Alberta Health Care card if they have one, along with photo ID. Use of face masks and hand sanitizer is required when attending the site for immunization.
