A vehicle collision shut down part of Highway 2 near Red Deer late Wednesday night.
RCMP said southbound lanes on the highway were shut down following a motor vehicle collision about two km south of the McKenzie Road overpass.
Southbound traffic was diverted east and west for about two hours until the scene was cleared.
