Red Deerians can help shape the future of River Bend Golf and Recreation Area.
A draft Master Plan for it is online and ready for public feedback. As a part of the River Bend Golf and Recreation Area Master Plan project, the City of Red Deer has committed to bringing getting feedback from Red Deerians on the draft plan before it is finalized.
With the help of a consultant, the City has involved the community through a variety of public engagement methods over the last few months. So far, hundreds of Red Deerians voiced their opinions about the future of the River Bend area.
City of Red Deer is inviting anyone who wants to comment further to visit www.reddeer.ca/RiverBend, or to sign up for one of two virtual public feedback sessions: on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 3:30 – 4:45 p.m. or on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6 – 7:15 p.m.
The community is encouraged to pre-register for the public feedback sessions and complete the survey before Tuesday, Oct. 11.
