Chance Duda, 10, of Delburne relaxes as she floats in the pond at Discovery Canyon on Monday afternoon. Duda, along with several other children and adults from Delburne, made the trip to the River Bend Recreation Area in Red Deer to seek out some relief from the heat. The Delburne Park program meets each Monday and travels to a park in Central Alberta. The group has travelled to the Calgary Zoo, Heritage Park and will continue through the summer seeking out fun activities for Delburne area residents.
