Innisfail RCMP have arrested a man for allegedly stealing mail.
Police say they received a report of a man breaking into mailboxes at an Innisfail apartment building at 8 a.m. Thursday.
RCMP conducted patrols and found a man who matched the suspect’s description sitting in a truck nearby.
He was arrested without incident and a large amount of mail was located inside the truck, in addition to numerous other items.
Matthew Thiemer, 31, of Edmonton, is facing a number of charges, including theft of mail, possessing a controlled substance, possessing break-in tools and mischief.
