An Innisfail man is facing a long list of charges for property theft and evading police.

Christopher Posner, 25 of Innisfail, was arrested on April 23. He was wanted on 13 outstanding arrest warrants, encompassing 20 outstanding charges.

On April 19, police observed a vehicle that was believed to be involved in a break and enter and was towing a stolen trailer. After multiple attempts to stop the vehicle, the occupants unhooked the stolen trailer and fled the area.

Innisfail RCMP then executed a search warrant in relation to this investigation on April 23 at a storage facility in Red Deer County.

Police located and seized stolen tools, construction materials, an ATV, a stolen trailer along with fire fighting equipment stolen from Red Deer County Emergency Services in Springbrook earlier this year.

On April 24, Olds RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle in Bowden. The occupants in the vehicle were the same suspects in relation to the ongoing investigation and were removed from the vehicle without incident.

Posner has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on May 3.

The other suspect, Lyrissa Deck, 26, of Sylvan Lake has been charged with possession of an illegal substance and possession of stolen property.

She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on May 31.
