A debit terminal was stolen during a break-in at a Penhold car wash early Monday morning.

Innisfail RCMP said at about 02:30 a.m. police were alerted to a break and enter at Suds-Station Carwash. Surveillance images showed a blue, quad cab truck pull up to the business and two suspects break in.

Police said it’s the second recent break and enter in the Penhold and Innisfail area that involved the targeted theft of a debit terminal.

While RCMP continue to investigate, business owners are asked to consider securing or removing debit terminals when leaving their stores for the night.
