Innisfail RCMP is investigating a report of a possible abduction.

At 4:08 pm on Friday, police responded to a report of a possible abduction at the intersection of 49 Street and 50 Avenue in the Town of Innisfail.

Witnesses reported they had seen a female individual try to get out of the passenger side door of a vehicle – the female individual was screaming. The vehicle drove away without allowing her to exit and she was pulled back inside the car by a male driver.

The vehicle was last seen driving out of town, westbound on 49 Street, and is described as a grey, four-door Audi sedan.

Surveillance images of the vehicle have been collected and are being released in hopes the public can help identify the vehicle and/or the occupants.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Innisfail RCMP at 403-227-3342. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available.
