Police are investigating the circumstances that led to a tractor-trailer rollover on Highway QEII Wednesday.
The incident took place at around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, where the vehicle was heading southbound on QEII and flipped on its side blocking both southbound driving lanes.
The lone male driver was treated on scene for his injuries and released by responding EMS. The 35-year-old driver from Winnipeg has been charged with operating motor vehicle transporting goods without securing goods properly under the Vehicle Equipment Regulations.
The southbound lanes of the QEII Highway were temporarily shut down while tow trucks removed the tractor trailer unit from the roadway.
