Innisfail RCMP are looking into the suspicious death of a 38-year-old male at the Bluebird Motel.
EMS was called to the scene of a man in distress on Wednesday at 1:30 a.m., and he was later declared dead.
The RCMP major crimes unit was deployed and is investigating what is determined to be a homicide.
They believe it is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
