A Red Deer man was arrested after Innisfail RCMP located a stash of stolen property Wednesday.

Police say officers, while on patrol, observed “suspicious property” on Crown land near Range Road 25 and the Cottonwood Road in Red Deer County, west of Innisfail.

Police investigated and learned the property was stolen.

A man was later seen driving into the area. The truck he was driving was confirmed to be stolen as well.

Lee Leray Pratt, 26, of Red Deer, has been charged with possessing a controlled substance, operating a vehicle while prohibited, possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possessing property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Pratt was scheduled to make an appearance in court Friday.

A large quantity of stolen items was recovered, including quads, a motorcycle, a dirt bike, a generator and enclosed trailer, four firearms, ammunition and a 2018 Tam 2500 truck.

All rightful owners of the property have been identified and contacted by the RCMP.
