Police are hoping the public can help identify a robbery suspect in Innisfail.

Innisfail RCMP were called to a convenience store at 5107 50 St. shortly before midnight on Aug. 26 after a 911 call about an armed robbery.

Along with RCMP Police Dog Services, police determined that a lone male suspect wearing a white face covering entered the convenience store while armed with a weapon.

There was one employee and a customer in the store at the time of the robbery. The man demanded money from the customer and the employee before fleeing the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a tall male with a medium build and was last seen wearing a black sweater, black shorts, black and white runners, gloves, glasses.

The Innisfail RCMP is seeking the public assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.
