Sundre RCMP are looking for the owners of several generators stolen from a seacan near the town earlier this month.

Police said the seacan on Beaverrun Trail was broken into on Feb. 5 and Feb. 7 and a number of generators and assorted power tools and gas-powered tools were taken.

Surveillance video helped Innisfail General Investigation Section officers identify a vehicle and a suspect.

Last Wednesday, Innisfail RCMP got a warrant and searched a residence on Main Street in town. Two suspects were arrested and evidence seized linked to the earlier thefts. Other stolen property, two homemade firearms, ammunition and methamphetamine were also seized.

Sophia Crumley and Russell Keaast-Crumley have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of methamphetamine, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of an unauthorized firearm and several other property-related offences.

Crumley has also been charged with break and enter, mischief and theft in connection to the Sundre thefts

Innisfail RCMP are still looking for the owner of a red Honda EM5000SX Generator, a Honda 2000 generator, and a yellow Fireman 1200 Generator, all of which were recovered during the serach warrant. Contact the Innisfail RCMP General Investigation Section if you have any information pertaining to the property described, at 403-227-8514.
