Teams are readying for the eighth annual Innisfail Scarecrow Festival, which will turn the town’s main street into Scarecrow Drive over the Thanksgiving long weekend. Community organizers are hoping for more than 100 entries to better last year’s 88. Entries will be judged and winners on announced Saturday at the festival square dance.
